Last year I did a tour of Vietnam and want to come to Thailand. As a single female rider (albeit brave but unknowing) would I be better off booking a tour? I’m not shy about taking off on my own but this is not my backyard so I need some advice. I got to your site from GT riders. Thanks.

Even though I have friends with tour companies, personally I think booking motorcycle tours is a waste of money. It is easy to ride in Thailand and as you have seen, there is plenty of information and assistance available here and on GT-Rider. Post your plans on GT-Rider Forum and you will get plenty of advice and most likely a riding partner, if you so desire.
