EARLY on Destination Thailand TV

May 13, 2014 | | Comments 0

Destination Thailand TV is an English Language Thai TV show and website dedicated to Thailand Travel.

Having already done a feature story on my good friend David Unkovich, the guru of Thailand motorcycling, I was asked to accompany them on a four day ride skirting North Thailand and the Myanmar border.  I have known David for 12 years and we became regular traveling companions and have ridden thousands of kilometers together in Thailand, Laos and Vietnam.

We shot video and interviews for four days.  As is usual with this type of filming it all edited down to about 16 minutes of actual programming.  I think the ‘behind the scenes’ photos need little explanation and if you have 16 minutes or so to spare, please watch the two videos.  Most of my blogs show bad roads and mountain villages.  That is because we search those areas out for a bit of adventure.  As you will see, there are many super nice roads for travel and particularly motorcycling here in Northern Thailand.

If you wish to know more about the history of Khun Sa, please visit my blog   Prince of Death Road Tour.
